Zebra Room

Zebra Room

In the Zebra Room, designed for 2-3 year-olds, we create a dynamic and engaging learning environment that is tailored to the unique developmental needs and interests of children in this age group. Our curriculum is carefully crafted to promote holistic growth encompassing cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development. This is also the age that we introduce many of our All-Inclusive Activies.

We introduce age-appropriate activities that lay the foundation for literacy and numeracy. This includes storytime, exposure to letters and numbers, and basic counting activities.Children are encouraged to explore cause-and-effect relationships through hands-on activities, puzzles, and games that stimulate critical thinking.

Play is a central element in the Zebra Room, fostering communication and collaboration among children. Group activities and playdates help children develop essential social skills. We also provide a safe space for children to express their emotions and teach them strategies for managing their feelings, promoting emotional intelligence. Lasly, children are encouraged to take on age-appropriate responsibilities, such as cleaning up after themselves and making choices during playtime, which fosters a sense of independence.

Activities like drawing, painting, and using building blocks enhance fine motor skills, preparing children for writing and other precision tasks. We also offer ample opportunities for physical activity through dancing, outdoor play, and games that enhance coordination and balance.

Children are encouraged to express themselves through art, music, and creative play. Art projects and music sessions stimulate imagination and self-expression. The Zebra Room often features a designated area for imaginative play, allowing children to explore different roles and scenarios.

Storytime, conversations, and interactive games boost vocabulary and language comprehension. We focus on developing clear communication skills, teaching children to express their thoughts and needs effectively.

We introduce children to various cultures, traditions, and perspectives through age-appropriate activities and stories, promoting an understanding of the world around them.

Outdoor play is an integral part of the curriculum. Children explore the natural world, learn about plants and animals, and engage in simple science experiments.
