Our Killara preschool is proud to be a recipient of the Start Strong preschool funding under the NSW Department of Education’s ‘Start Strong for Long Day Care 2024‘ Program. This funding helps ensure that every child, especially those in their early years, has access to quality early childhood education through a recognised preschool program.
With this financial support, we can offer exceptional learning opportunities and experiences for children at an affordable price in our preschool rooms in our Killara centre.

Families with children aged 4 and above (who turn 4 on or before 31 July 2024) can receive up to $2,110 per child per year in fee relief. This significant financial assistance is intended to reduce the cost of early childhood education during these formative years, ensuring that families can benefit from the comprehensive, high-quality care that Little Leo’s offers.

Our preschoolers travel to iconic destinations within 30 minutes’ drive of our centre.
Your child will benefit from a FREE one-year subscription before being introduced to the Reading Eggs program in kindergarten. Additionally, they will also have access to Reading Eggs at home to help improve their reading and literacy skills, saving $167.99 per child.
Our curriculum is designed to support children’s learning across all key developmental areas, preparing them for their future schooling. Children engage in activities that promote literacy, numeracy, social skills, and emotional development. This is all based on the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF), ensuring each child is given the tools they need for a successful transition to school.

In addition to the Start Strong fee relief, Little Leo’s is committed to making high-quality early childhood education accessible to as many families as possible. Whether or not you receive the Child Care Subsidy (CCS), you can still take advantage of this fee relief, ensuring that no family is left out of accessing our comprehensive services.
